Black to the eyes is like silence to the ears, soothing and therapeutic, leaving the viewer with a sense of tranquility.
This photo series titled: “Independence” created on July 4th, 2013, in California’s Sonoma Valley, commemorates an important American celebration.
I captured subtle sparks of light resulting from explosions of fireworks, against a very dark sky. With no filters or any photo editing, the contrast reminds us of how mesmerizing light can be.
